Elviria is the popular upmarket area of Marbella. It is the home of famous Don Carlos Hotel, Marriott Beach Resort Marbella, Alanda Resort ( Four seasons) with a huge shopping centre.The apartment is situates just off the main coastal Highway N340 just befor the English International college, aproximately 50 km from the airport. It is walking distance to the best sandy beaches of the costa del sol.Restaurants and bars can be found all along the beach as well as shopping along N340. There is a public bus stop just outside the apartment complex buildings going towards Marbella. It is much cheaper to hire a car as taxis are expensive and some people find the public buses not so reliable The famous La Canada shopping centre Marbella is a few minutes drive as is the huge Elviria commercial centreMarbella Centre is aproximately twelve minute by car. Puerto Banus with its famous entertainment of bars, casinos and clubs is a few more minutes west of Marbella. The clubs and bars of Puerto Banus remain open till early hours of the morning and the upmarket designer shops stay open till late every day. The area is famous for the yatch marina.East of Elviria you will find Puerto Cabopino, Calahonha and Benalmadena again with a variety of live entertainment to suit all tastes and pockets. Further down you can go to Fuengirola and on to Malaga... Fuengirola and Marbella are conveniently connected by public transport. Fuengirola and Malaga are connected by train as well which is also very convenient for Malaga Airport.
